Questions parents ask

How young can my kid start?

Around seven works well: a soft training ball, an adult throwing, and the net on the grounder or fly-ball angle from about fifteen feet. From ten or so, a regular ball and all three angles. Adult supervision is recommended for minors.

Can two kids use it at the same time?

Yes. One throws, the other fields what comes back, then they switch — or they go head to head on the target square.

Does it work for softball?

Yes. It returns a regulation 12-inch softball thrown at full speed. Soccer, volleyball and lacrosse balls work on the same net. More on the softball rebounder page.

Can they hit into it?

Yes, for soft toss and tee work. Set the low angle so the ball comes back on the ground, and stand to the side of the return.

Can I use weighted training balls?

Yes. A weighted ball comes back with more force, so start at the longer distances on the practice page.

Will it stay put?

Yes. The wide base and the steel ground stakes in the box hold it on grass through hard throws. On turf or hard-packed dirt, weight the base — the anchoring guide shows how.

Can I leave it outside?

Yes, that is what the cover is for. It is fitted and waterproof, and it shields the net and frame from rain, sun and dew between sessions. On a windy day, take the cover off and fold the frame flat. More in leaving a rebounder outside.

How long does setup take?

About fifteen minutes for one person. The tubes are numbered, the instructions are illustrated, and the wing nuts tighten by hand.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. A limited one-year manufacturer warranty, handled through Amazon from your order page. Details on the warranty page.

What if something breaks?

Within the first year, a defect is replaced or refunded through Amazon. FLYNX ships as a complete unit, and a claim covers the whole unit.
